Full Weld

For those who want the absolute best, full weld banger bowls are the only option for you. These quartz bangers are made with the same high-quality quartz as our other banger bowls, but they're welded together with a stronger, more durable joint. The result is a banger bowl that will last longer and provide a better dabbing experience.

Our full weld joints look just like single-cast dab bangers, but they're two pieces of quartz that have been welded together. This design makes for a much stronger joint that can withstand repeated use and high temperatures.

And while it might sound like a single-cast piece of quartz would be more durable, the weld can actually withstand more heat because it's reinforced with additional quartz to support the narrow stem.

Veteran dabbers know that the key to a perfect dab is all in the technique. A cold-start bucket is designed to help you get precise low-temp dabs with every hit. Cold start buckets are extra-tall for a few reasons. The first is to prevent the quartz nail from heating up too much when you torch it.

The taller bucket takes longer to heat up, giving you more time to apply exactly the right amount of heat to your dab nail. Since you're starting with oil in the bucket, the taller sides help prevent oil from bubbling and splashing over the edge.

You can get our 10mm cold-start buckets with either a half-weld joint or a full-weld joint. Both options are extra-tall and designed to give you potent dabs at the perfect low temperature.

Drip buckets have a rounded bottom that keeps hot oil dripping to the very bottom of the dish. This feature allows you to get every last drop of oil, so there's no waste. And, it’s convenient for swabbing out your quartz banger nail after each dab.

Standard buckets have deep corners that take a little extra effort to reach with a cotton swab. But since drip buckets have a spherical bottom, there are no pesky corners, nooks, or crannies for oil to hide in.

At the same time, it's a stable and inert material that's completely safe to use with consumable materials. Quartz doesn't break down or change when exposed to high temps, so it's the perfect material for making banger bowls.

Quartz is also a very "hard" material, so it doesn't scratch or etch as easily as other materials. This durability means that your banger bowl will stay clean and look new for much longer.

Dose Low, Then Grow

A typical dab is about the size of a grain of rice. But if you're new to dabbing, you might want to start with an even smaller amount.

Once you've placed your concentrates on your dabber, use the torch to heat the quartz banger bowl. Once the bowl is nice and hot, touch your dabber to the bottom of the bowl to vaporize the oil. Inhale slowly and evenly until you've taken in all the vapor.

If you're new to dabbing, it's always best to start with a small dose. A little bit of oil goes a long way, and it's easy to overdo it when you're first starting out. Once you've gotten the hang of things, you can slowly increase the size of your dabs.

Just because quartz can withstand high temperatures doesn't mean you should always dab at the highest possible temp. In fact, most concentrates vaporize best between 400-500 degrees Fahrenheit.

If you heat your banger bowl too hot, you risk losing precious terpenes and flavor compounds. Additionally, ultra-hot dabs can be harsh on your throat and lungs.

To find the perfect temp for your dabs, start by heating your banger bowl until it's just barely red. Then, let it cool down for approximately 40 seconds before taking your dab. You can learn more about getting the perfect hit in our dab temperature guide.

Carb caps are an essential tool for any dabber using a quartz banger bowl. A carb cap helps regulate the airflow in your banger bowl, preventing your concentrates from cooking too quickly. They also help to preserve flavor by trapping heat inside the bowl.

It's easy to forget to cap your quartz banger bowl, but it's an important step in the dabbing process. So be sure to have a carb cap handy before you start heating your banger bowl.

Terp pearls are small beads that help to increase the surface area of your banger bowl. They help your concentrates vaporize more evenly by adding more surface area. Terp pearls also help prevent waste by ensuring that all of your oil vaporizes before it has a chance to pool in the bottom of the bowl.

If you want to get the most out of your concentrates, we recommend adding terp pearls to your banger bowl. They're an affordable way to upgrade your dabbing experience, and they're easy to use. 

Just drop a few dab pearls into your banger bowl before you start heating it, and don't forget to clean them off with some isopropyl alcohol after each hit.

Last but not least, it's important to keep your quartz banger bowl clean. Over time, residue from your concentrates can build up in the bowl and affect the flavor of your dabs. It can also make it harder to get a good hit because the residue can prevent your dabs from making full contact with the bowl.

Fortunately, it's easy to prevent this from ever happening. After your dish has cooled off enough to touch — but not enough for the residue to solidify — wipe down the bucket with a cotton swab soaked in iso.

If there's a lot of spent oil, wipe with a dry swab first, and then wipe further with the soaked end. And for a deep clean, you can soak your banger bowl in some iso overnight.

This process can get messy quickly if you don't have the right dab tools. So we recommend using our dab mat to protect your surfaces and make cleanup a breeze. If you're new to dabbing, you might be wondering why people use mini banger bowls and rigs. After all, a regular-sized bowl would seem to offer more surface area for vaporization.

It turns out that mini banger bowls offer several advantages over their larger counterparts:

• Firstly, mini banger bowls heat up more quickly than regular-sized bowls because there's less material to heat. So, the bowl reaches optimal temperature more quickly.
• Additionally, mini banger bowls also offer better flavor than larger bowls because the compact bowl size enhances the flavor of your concentrates. So if you're looking for the best possible flavor from your dabs, a mini banger bowl is the way to go.
