A Quartz Banger

The next piece that comes in your dab rig starter kit is a quality quartz banger, which is just as necessary for the dabbing experience as the rig itself. It's where you apply a precise heat level to melt down and vaporize your concentrates so the smoke can pass through the rig and give you flavorful hits every time.

A Carb Cap

A Few Missing Pieces...

While our dab rig kits have everything you need to enjoy a nice bit of wax or shatter, they don't include all of the different accessories you may want or need. Explore you options with these different types:

• Terp Pearls - Heat up and vaporize your dabs and get a more flavorful hit by putting these in your banger. Make sure to have a carb cap on top so they don't fly out.
• Butane Torch — A solid torch ensures an intense, focused source of heat that you can apply to your banger once you’re ready to light up. Torches produce enough heat to properly vaporize your wax.
• Dab Rig Station — Have a nice spot to store your dab rig and accessories, so they're all ready for you to use for your next session.
• Portable Smoke Filter — A separate piece from the rig itself, a little handheld smoke filter that allows you to take a hit and exhale into the device. It filters out all smoke and odor so you can be discreet while fully enjoying your session.
• Concentrate Container — MJ Arsenal offers plenty of accessories for dab rigs, but not necessarily for storing or preserving concentrates. Still, if you want to keep your dabs fresh and sticky, we recommend keeping them in a good container, something vacuum-sealable.

One key upgrade for nearly any rig we carry is a Puffco Proxy vaporizer (along with a compatible attachment).

Unlike traditional rigs, the Proxy doesn't require an external heating element. Instead, it fits snugly into your banger attachment.

Fill it with your choice of concentrates, and the Proxy will provide an even level of heat from all directions so you get the smoothest, most flavorful hits possible.

It is very important to keep your rig and accessories clean for the best results. Here's what you need to do:

• First, get your cleaning supplies. This includes isopropyl alcohol, coarse salt, warm water, cotton swabs or pipe cleaners, and several zip-lock bags.
• Next, take apart the dab rig you used. Break down every detachable beach.
• Then, heat up your banger and use a cotton swab to get any leftover wax out. You don't want that sticky residue to get in the way while you clean.
• After that, fill each zip-lock bag with isopropyl alcohol. Add that coarse salt. The alcohol should cover about half of each piece.
• Place each component of your rig into its own bag, along with the alcohol and salt. Shake and soak each piece in the solution to break down any built-up residue. Let these pieces sit for about thirty minutes.
• After a nice soak, remove the pieces and use cotton swabs or pipe cleaners to scrub out hard-to-reach areas inside the rig pieces.
• Rinse the pieces with warm water until there is no more cleaning solution. Then, leave the whole set to air dry.
